Time to get those costumes ready. My daughter was an angel for Halloween when she was 2, but the costume didn't match her personality very well, until we added a devil's tail!

Chocolate Pie

My husband and I like going out for pie, but we have 3 favorites and can only get 2 slices! This time we got coconut pie and lemon merengue pie. So I knitted the chocolate slice.

My sister introduced me to the delicious frozen Edwards pies, so now I can have pie whenever I want, ha ha. 

Rubber Ducky

I donated some money to a veteran's collection box outside of the local SAM's Club. In return, I was allowed to pick out a rubber ducky. 

Squirrel Sunset

It's National Squirrel Appreciation Month! I'm sure you all knew that. 

A squirrel was really hanging out in my fence watching the sunset, but it ran away when it saw my camera. 

Tombstones

These tombstones are on the property where my husband went hunting. I added the birds for dramatic effect!

Our family likes the ready-to-bake sugar cookies from Pillsbury.  So easy to cook at a moment's notice.

My friends and I went out to Happy Hour last night. I had an Asian Pear martini.

My husband went deer hunting on the East Coast this week. He said he got Bambie's brother :(

Woven Wall Art

I bought this beautiful basket-weave wall art from Costco. It was made from a woman in Africa. Costco had a big display of baskets with cards from the artists, and information about how the art was helping these women support their families.
