This blog was started to document my personal challenge of knitting a different patch every day for a year. I learned to knit in January 2013, and I started the challenge on March 1st, 2013. These daily patches became a journal of sorts, showing moments from my family's everyday life.

Spring
Today is the first day of Spring. This is my Aristocrat pear tree, in bloom. When the petals fall, we call it "California Snow".
